The rainy harbour

Well Keelung has proved to be everything they said being called the rainy harbour. It has rained all but a few moments we were here. That has not dampened the spirits of the local rotary clubs who showed up at every opportunity to show up a good time. The Juming art center was amazing. From Jack the coolest guy I ever met to all the host families who bent over backwards to make our stay special. We did see the amazing falls with scenery that was breath taking. The train ride was very cool with views that you will never see in Canada. The team also got to set flight to several sky lanterns that were massive. That was special to all of us. Tonight after our farewell dinner a few of the members joined us at the night market. Always so hard to say goodbye to our host families but it has become evident that we will return again. The hosts are not just rotarians but the whole family gets involved.
